Required Sr.Business Analyst with 7+ Years of Experience as a Business Analyst.Opporninuty is with a leading Phrama Client in Hyderabad.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Derive features required for a complete major product release and multiple concurrent intermediate releases
- Demonstrate expert level skill in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity
- Be regarded as an expert in Agile Methodology.
- Has the ability to run multiple scrums or scrum of scrums
- Collaborate closely with Product Ownership in Scope and Feature decisions, negotiating time lines and release schedules;
- Assists Product Ownership in managing customers showing deep expertise in inbound product management; help Product Ownership in defining the product vision and roadmap
- Collaborate with UX, Architecture and Engineering Teams in Design Decisions demonstrating deep understanding of technology stack
- Mentor junior team members and provides oversight when working with other Analysts on a large project
- Establish close partnership with Quality Engineering and Devops teams to ensure successful releases
- Understand security and compliance requirements; establishes seamless integration with Cyber Security and Compliance teams
- Demonstrate excellent business acumen, knows latest industry trends, routinely attends industry seminars and is looked at as an internal expert on the product as well as the associated competitive landscape
- Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product ownership and engineering team
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
- A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software feature decomposition
- Experience with Business-to-Business (B2B), e-Commerce, Inventory Control/Management, Point of Sale (POS), and/or Procurement Systems is valued.
- Experience with the Agile development process would be advantageous.
- Hands-on experience acting as a Scrum Master, leading one or many dev teams in Agile Scrum rituals, such as daily standup, story demonstration, retrospective, planning
- Written and verbal communication experience with both internal and external customers is expected.
Desired Skills:
Technical Expertise:
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns and Java coding principles
- Hands-on experience in decomposing requirements into robust Agile based User Stories, including strong acceptance criteria and requirement traceability.
- Experience with Rally or JIRA is a big plus.
- Experience with reporting on Agile based metrics including burn-up, burn-down, velocity, etc.
Business Acumen:
- Strong problem solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
- Experience in building scalable and highly available distributed systems
- Expert in breaking down problems and estimate time for development tasks
- Evangelizes how our technology solves customer problems from a technology and business perspective
