Master Data Analysis - 5+ Years

Required Master Data Analysis with 5+ Years of Experience in SAP,Data Governance,Business Structure and Customer Service.
Required Skills and Experience: 

  • 5+ years SAP experience, preferably in master data maintenance and/or data governance.
  • Experience in master data, customer service, purchasing, manufacturing is beneficial.  
  • Good overall knowledge of business processes (customer service, manufacturing, purchasing, and accounting)
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of global master data standards and processes and an understanding of the business and how the data supports each business unit.  Provide this knowledge to the business to facilitate the maintenance of master data and solving issues affecting downstream activities/transactions.
  • Create and maintain customer, vendor, and material master data submitted by the business units through various channels. Ensure that the data complies with the appropriate business rules and is completed timely and within the defined service metrics.

  • Analyze data against standards and work with the business units to correct data that is incorrect or inconsistent with the defined standards/rules
  • Collaborate with the businesses, and resource groups including Purchasing, EH&S, Accounting/Finance and Supply Chain to ensure understanding master data requests, processes and standards.
  • Maintain supporting documentation in compliance with established record retention requirements.
  • Support the Process Owner and Analyst as needed with projects and mass uploads.
  • Support maintenance of business rules and procedures.   Provided training as needed for new users and changes.
  • Communicate frequently and openly with other team members to maximize benefits gained by sharing ideas and lessons learned to improve our business process and provide a stable and reliable environment for our business units.
  • Manage material and vendor workflow requests according to procedures and cycle time metrics.
