Senior Development Manager - 10+ Years

Required Senior Development Manager with 10+ Years of Experience in SDLC,Architecture and Development,Apache Server and Agile.This Opportunity is with a leading Gaming Client in Hyderabad.

Roles and Responsibilities : 

• Initiate, drive and deliver effective experiences in partnership with distributed cross-functional teams to ensure a quality and time bound delivery of the work.
• Estimate engineering effort during various stages of project life cycle.
• Track development deliverables and communicate their status to global teams.
• Exhibit creativity and resourcefulness while collaborating and working effectively with best in class designers, engineers of different technical backgrounds, architects and product managers.
• Be responsible for end to end development lifecycle, from an ideation phase to post production phase.
• Ability to plan ahead and integrate research and best practices into problem avoidance and continuous improvement.
• Experience with agile/scrum methodologies to iterate quickly on product changes, developing user stories and working through backlogs.
• Work with external product and service vendors.
• Initiate, innovate and build best practices across all phases of SDLC.
• Hire and recruit the best talent
• Coach, guide and mentor the development team and build a high performing, happy and successful team.

Required Skills and Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with 12+ years of experience in building and delivering complex mission critical applications and projects.
• Very strong technical and hands on background in Architecture and development.
• Experience in building, mentoring and leading engineering function that include large teams (preferably 10+ team size) that are globally distributed in nature with continuous development & testing model being practiced.
• 5+ years of experience working in Java, and other Java based open source technologies like Apache foundation.
• Demonstrated experience in architecting and deploying high volume, high transaction based, distributed and redundant web applications.
• Proven track record of leading technical teams in delivering web technology architecture, design and implementation.
• Strong Understanding of Full stack modern technologies from UI layer to middleware and DB layer in great detail.
• Excellent understanding of design patterns.
• Hands on coding experience.
• Experience working with external vendors.
• Continuous and persistent learner.
• Experience working in Agile methodology.
• Experience in Development, Support, Maintenance, and Enhancement projects
