Roles and Responsibilities:Required Senior Software Engineer with 4+ Years of real-time experience in IOT Platform Development and Linux based Embedded Systems.Opportunity is with a Leading Cloud Computing/Mobility Solutions IT Company based in Hyderabad.
The software engineer will play a lead role in developing innovative IOT products and services leveraging our fog computing platform. The successful candidate will be expected to lead the requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and technical support of IOT products.
Preferred Skills: C, C++, Python, Proficiency in Linux board bring-up, TCP/IP, Open WRT
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university. Master’s degree in one of these fields is a plus.
- 4 to 8 years of industry experience working as software engineer developing Linux-based embedded systems.
- Expert in embedded development: C, C++, Python
- Extensive experience in TCP/IP, routers, firewalls, switches, VPN, IPSec, DHCP, DNS, as well as in LAN/WAN network administration and engineering.
- Proficiency in Linux board bring-up.
- Advanced ability to configure and build a Linux kernel from source.
- Expert knowledge of Linux build systems (kconfig, cmake, gnu make) and Linux packaging systems (dpkg, rpm).
- Strong scripting skills in bash.
- Skillful in OpenWRT, DD-WRT, or Tomato.
