JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, bench marking, messaging and audience identification
• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
• Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company's social content
• Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
• Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information

Skill Set:

• Proven working experience in social media or related field
• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
• Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
• Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
• Fluency in English

Manager - Social Media

Manager of Social Media will own Company’s strategy and presence on all social channels for our entire game portfolio. Do you know when to use and especially when NOT to use Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Tumblr, Instagram, Vine, and many other social tools? In what way can we best use these tools to help our players connect and converse around our games? 

Responsibilities:

• Build and manage a team of global, genre-specialist Social Media creatives.
• Drive/build out and manage game-franchise social media channels.
• Set acquisition, engagement and retention KPIs and report regularly on performance.
• Coordinate closely with the Product Marketing, Player Experience, Product and Live Operations teams as a player-focused team.
• Create engaging and compelling shareable content with a solid mix of image, video, audio and text to keep our players entertained even when they are not playing!

Education:

Bachelor’s degree (Journalism or Social editorial is a plus)

Experience:

3+ years of Social Media management and a passion for the latest trends in social communication channels.

Must Have Experience:

1. Experience building communities from scratch and making existing multi-million player communities effective
2. Passionate about mobile gaming and direct interaction with players
3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and comfortable in engaging communication with all levels of management, both internal and external
4. People management & leadership abilities and experience
5. Proficiency in Social Measuring Tools and KPIs
6. Self-motivated with the ability to “roll-up the sleeves” to prioritize and manage work load to meet critical deadlines
7. Discipline: ability to keep up with the breakneck pace of cross-functional communications
8. Preferred: Experience managing global social channel presence
