Senior Financial Analyst - 4+ Years

Required Senior Financial Analyst with 4+ Years of Experience in Using ERP,VBA,Hyperion Essbase and MS Power BI.This Opportunity is with a leading gaming Client in Hyderabad.

Business Partnering

• Act as primary business partner to assigned Service Line owners, understanding specific business objectives for each and actively working as their finance liaison to facilitate their success and educate on financial policies and process
• Effectively engage, partner and develop strong relationships with local and remote on-shore and worldwide off-shore resources and business partners

Financial Reporting

• Prepare, schedule, and lead financial reviews with budget owners to develop annual plans and subsequent forecast updates. Analyze actual results against forecasts to concisely highlight variance drivers and identify opportunities to mitigate risk and improve performance
• Review, validate, and approve vendor Purchase Requests (PR’s) and validate ongoing receiving and invoicing within assigned departments.
• Manage all forecasting and reporting activities related to Opex, Capex, and Headcount

Financial Modeling

• Create, enhance and use Excel and other tool-based models to analyze financial data and to identify and report historical trends and forecasts. Experience with Microsoft Power BI Tools is preferred.
• Recommend creative approaches to new projects / analyses. Opportunity to participate in finance process improvement projects
• Monthly and Quarterly Close
• Drive all close activities for assigned departments including identifying and preparing accrual and reclass entries to ensure precise accounting of known activities

Technical Skills And Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or CPA preferred
• Minimum 4 years of related financial experience
• Extensive experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis
• Demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility and independence
• Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting and general GAAP knowledge
• Strong business acumen with understanding of functional linkages and ability to build strong professional relationships with business partners in both operational and financial roles
• Highly motivated, passionate, self-starter; comfortable interacting with senior management
• Deep MS Excel expertise is a must and MS Power BI is preferred. This role will routinely require creative Excel solutions in driving complex report development and reverse engineering of existing tools and reports. VBA experience a plus
• Strong working knowledge of financial planning systems/tools and ERP software. Specific experience within Hyperion Essbase and Oracle preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong presentation and PowerPoint expertise preferred
