Infrastructure Software Engineer - 10+ Years

Required Infrastructure Software Engineer with 10+ Years of Experience in Using HTTP,DNS,Automation Testing,Networking,SQL and Linux.Opporninuty is with a Leading Gaming Client in Hyderabad.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain robust and scalable software in the cloud
• Design and create services and system architecture for your projects, and contribute and provide feedback to other team members
• Help improve our code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms and products
• Work with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution
• Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule
• Work effectively with globally distributed teams.

Required Qualifications

• Self-directed and capable of working effectively in a highly dynamic and collaborative environment
• A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in algorithms, data structures, and software design principles
• Expertise in object oriented design/programming
• Experience with cloud services (ideally AWS). You know the “gotchas,” potential problems, and how to setup a geographically redundant service in the cloud.
• A solid understanding of networking and core Internet protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, and distributed networks).
• Lots of experience with Linux/UNIX systems and the best practices for deploying applications to those stacks.
• Experience with different databases, including working knowledge of SQL, relational data stores— and maybe even NoSQL databases
• A commitment to best practices. We’ll want your opinions on operational processes, DevOps, deployment checklists, and more.
• Design secure and highly available could architectures.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA)
• Document Quality Bugs – Well isolated, clear and concise bugs
• List Test Strategies/Plans/ Test cases and checklists for areas of ownership that ensure high level of software quality
• Regularly capture key knowledge through updating existing resources such as wikis, documents, forums, etc.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred.
