Looking for VMware Consultant with 8+ Years of experience in using Linux,puppet,Hybrid Cloud and Infrastructure Automation.This Opportunity is with a Leading Financial Client in Hyderabad.
- Implement, manage and maintain DN – Infrastructure as a Service - based on Enterprise Infrastructure and supporting critical business systems.
- Implement, manage and maintain storage solutions (i.e. NAS) for Linux, Windows, VMware and Hyper-V environments.
- Identify and investigate complex system malfunctions: isolate causes of errors due to servers, storage, network, cabling, etc; work with vendors to resolve hardware and software issues
- Independent implementation of various scripts and tools for automating virtual infrastructure in the private cloud and hybrid cloud ( UCS Director and puppet)
- Development of automated build and deployment processes of Linux and Windows based systems and assistance in applications and their configuration (puppet)
- Error analysis and correction on the systems (installation and configuration issues) based on operating systems and assistance for application operational support
- Continuous updating of checklists and careful documentation of the application landscape and the underlying infrastructure (CMDB, BMC ADDM, …)
- Participate in the evaluation of, install, support and administer relevant tools used to provide infrastructure automation and cloud integration solutions
- Design, create, validate, and maintain templates, blueprints, playbooks, and modules for configuration management and infrastructure deployment tools
Required Skills/Experience:
- Five years of experience in Linux System Administration, Windows System Administration, Vmware Administration or Hyper-V, Infrastructure Automation, or Cloud Integration engineering position
- Engineering degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related technical field
- Advanced Technical understanding and analytical skills
- Advanced knowledge in modern, object-oriented programming languages (Java, C #) and in scripting languages (PowerShell)
- Advanced knowledge with Configuration Management and Infrastructure Deployment tools like Puppet and Ansible.
- Advanced Knowledge of installation and administration of Linux/Windows systems
- Basic knowledge of database systems and middleware systems (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Tomcat, Weblogic, Websphere)
