Responsibilities:
- Proactively work with all geographically distributed teams. The position is for Hyderabad daytime hours; however it is occasionally necessary to overlap U.S. working hours particularly during initial orientation, major product releases and crunch times
- Review engineering designs and write test plans to exercise features and identify edge cases
- Identify and integrate test tools and test harnesses, to cover areas including networking, failover, load testing, test coverage metrics
- Write and run load tests and analyze results
- Evolve testing processes to improve resulting code quality
- Track daily progress using Agile
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science
- 1-3 years of Quality Assurance experience in development of test harness for complex business applications
- Experience designing and building test tools and harnesses
- Strong Java programming skills
- Experience with one or more scripting languages, particularly JavaScript or PHP
- Well versed in Internet technologies, such as HTML, RESTful webservices.
- Experience with the following tools is a plus: JUnit, Jmeter, Git, Artifactory
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as such as Redis, Memcache, DynamoDB or MongoDB is desirable but not required
- Experience working on Windows, Linux and cloud based infrastructure
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction to meet deadlines and schedules
- Adaptable and willing to learn and apply new skills as the needs of the business evolve
