Oracle Functional Analyst (Location: Hyderabad) |
The position is to implement Oracle Financials (R12) and support the end-users, business and development teams through the application of Financials Functional knowledge of the E-Business Suite for Order to Cash, Acquire to Retire and Procure to Pay processes. This individual will be a key member of R12 Global Support and Implementation Rollouts. This individual will combine Oracle expertise with proven communication, analytical and problem solving skills to support the development process and ongoing business functions.
Basic Qualifications (the examples are offered only as illustrations, basic qualifications must be tailored to the job)
- Education
Bachelor's Degree or Masters Degree in Computer Sciences Commerce / Business Administration with Business courses
- Experience
Minimum 5 years experience in Oracle 11.5.10/R12
- Fixed Assetsii. Accounts Payableiii. Accounts Receivableiv. General Ledgerv. Sub-ledger Accountingvi. eBusiness Taxvii. All aspects of financial accounting behind Oracle Inventory, Purchasing, and WIP.viii. SQL*Plus and basic understanding of PL/SQL
Minimum one Two years in R12 environment is a definite plus mandatory:
- Strong work experience in Support and Rollouts projects is preferred.
- Experience in Oracle AIM/ OUM
- Experience in Requirement Gathering, Solution Design is preferred
- Good knowledge and understanding of Oracle Open Interfaces and Oracle API's, Technical flow is huge plus
- Ability to work with basic to Advanced SQL/PLSQL may be required
- Subject matter expert and strong functional knowledge is very important
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience with various diagnostic methods to solve issues or problems
- Experience supporting global corporations is a plus (multi-currency and language environments)

- This individual is responsible for being a key business liaison in their designated module(s) / area of focus
- Adept at determining requirements by interviewing business users, reviewing documentation and facilitating working sessions
- Provide functional specification (MD50) to customize Oracle functionality to satisfy business requirements and business process design
- Perform functional tests to ensure configuration meets the Business requirements
- Knowledgeable about the Oracle applications functionality, tools, templates and methods and able to setup the system to meet the desired business process and requirements
- Support all Oracle Applications patching, upgrades and maintenance activities by testing and troubleshooting functional issues
- Meet with business analysts and business owners on new functionality requests and production issues and develop functional specifications based on AIM/OUM Methodology
- Work with minimal guidance; seek guidance on only the most complex tasks
- Ability to think logically in solving problems and to present recommendations in a clear and concise form as part of the ongoing Customer Support.
