The Senior Pre-sales Consultant coordinates technical pre-sales activities. He/she transfers industry, technical and product knowledge to customers via good written, verbal and presentation skills. Assists in all levels of technical account planning and accompanies sales account managers on visits to customers. Assists in the development of formal sales proposal and presents and differentiates product offerings at a technical level from the competition. The Senior Pre-sales Consultant will also actively participate in internal specialist teams and provide consultative support in specialist areas to other Pre-sales Consultants.

Responsibilities:

  • Internal technology and product presentation and demonstrations.
  • Building custom demonstrations.
  • Support the Sales team to qualify opportunities, deliver product presentations, and conduct product demos.
  • Assisting in the delivery of Proofs of Concepts (POC) in the ERP application.
  • Maintaining internal demo repository.
  • Providing answers to technical questions for Request for Information (RFIs) and Request for Proposal (RFPs)
  • Attending, delivering technical pre- sales presentations, and discussing portfolio of products and services at trade-show events
  • Articulate the business value of services to prospects regarding how these products can solve their complex Information Technology (IT)related problems.
  • Continuously update technical knowledge and learn new products and feature sets.
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
  • Be open and flexible with regards to time management and scheduling changes.
  • Document proposed technical solutions.
  • Developing and Demonstrating technical solutions for product webinars, as well as follow-up QA for technical questions
  • Understand the marketplace, what our competition has to offer, and how we compare.


Experience and Qualification:


  1. Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
  2. Experience in Pre-sales with technical solutions.
  3. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  4. Ability to work in a revenue driven environment.
  5. A high level of energy, initiative and commitment.
  6. Working knowledge of JD Edwards (JDE), Peoplesoft ERPs.
  7. Experience in system analysis and related project methodologies.
  8. Eager to solve problems and deliver solutions.
  9. Resourceful, self-motivated, customer-focused. And ability to work in a team.
  10. Must be comfortable presenting to C-level clients.
  11. Strong Oral, written, and presentation skills.
  12. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  13. Clearly and easily communicate solution proposals to prospects and clients.
