Looking for a Vice President Global Operations for a  Investment Management group of worlds largest insight, information and Consulting Company, employing more than 28500 employees.

This position has to create world class operational solutions that meet the client need for faster turnaround, reduced costs, global consistency and data quality when buying market research. The operations function comprises technical experts across India, UK, North America and Amsterdam. 


Functional reporting into: Managing Director

We are looking for a senior executive who will not only lead new projects but also be willing to get her/his hands dirty and lead the teams to excellence through high quality of delivery as well as superior team management and motivation.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Lead the team to meet business objectives by developing talent
  • Work with seniors/stakeholders to improvise existing and design new processes
  • Ensure a Pristine Control Environment - All operational risks to be assessed and mitigated, and control/audit issues actively managed to resolution
  • Monitor and track expenses to plan
  • Effective Communication for both internal and external stakeholders providing regular; develop strong working relationship between the team and onshore business partner
  • To show consistent improvement in employee satisfaction & customer survey scores 
  • Ensure self & team’s Compliance to company’s/ group’s policies & procedures 
Operational Responsibilities:
  • Exercise full leadership and supervisory responsibility over Operations Support department typically consisting of multiple teams
  • Evaluates teams' performance and make course correction wherever and whenever needed
  • Responsible for Manpower planning, resource management to balance workloads
  • Recommends new work procedures with broader scope of impact; deals with variable (occasionally complex) issues with substantial potential impact
Key Deliverables:
  • Meet expense plan
  • Pass all Internal and External Audit reviews
  • Enhance customer centricity and concept of one team
  • Attract, Develop, Asses and Retain the Talent
Shift:
UK shift but should be flexible in shift timings

Qualifications: 
Bachelors degree in Engineering/ Commerce/ Science or MBA

Experience:
  • 15-12 years of which 8-10 years in Operational process management and 2-5 years in starting new business or migrating programs
  • Very good understanding of business, technology & operations
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in leading and managing large teams; track record of building teams, managing employee motivation
  • Competence in Risk & Control, detailed knowledge of procedures
