Required Software Design Engineer Cobol with 2+ Years of Experience in SaaS,MS-SQL,Oracle and Micro Focus COBOL.Opportunity is with a leading Product Development IT Client in Hyderabad.
Experience and Skills:
- 2-6 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years experience developing high performance, high availability applications. Multi-tenant SaaS-based applications is a plus.
- 2-6 years experience developing applications with Cobol. MS-SQL, Oracle or DB2 is a plus (candidates with experience on Micro Focus COBOL are preferred)
- Experience with development life cycle, exposure to database development, and design pattern skills.
- Good understanding of software development process. Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle. Experience working in Agile development teams using SCRUM is a plus.
- A good understanding of any of zOS, Windows and/or UNIX/Linux operating systems.
- Experience using Windows productivity tools (e.g.: MS Office).
- Knowledge and experience of some of the following: JIRA, JSP, XML, C++, or JAVA is a plus.
