| Storage Test Engineer (Location: Hyderabad) |
This position is for a Storage Test Engineer focusing on Systems and Solutions testing. The ideal candidate comes with hands-on experience working on SAN Storage with good exposure to testing processes.She/he should have experience developing and executing test plans and testcases for SAN storage features as well as test automation adn scripting experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills is a plus.
Job Description:
- Experience testing enterprise storage arrays ideally with iSCSI/FC protocol
- Experience into Automation Testing - not mandatory.
- Good understanding of network storage protocols such as iSCSI, FC, snapshots, cloning, replication
- Experience with QA processes, testplanning, execution and reporting
- Experience with Linux, Windows and Virtualization environments
- Exposure with python/ perl shell coding
- Having testautomation experience.
- Working knowledge of build and continuous integration processes and tools
- Experience testing or developing testtools for storage systems
- experience in testing Enterprise storage
- Knowledge OS internals and different File Systems
- Strong experience with different Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, Vm ware)
- n-depth knowledge of protocols like FC, ISCSI, IB, SAS
- Deriving FS functional testspecification to create test plans/test cases
- Debugging and troubleshooting to isolate problems
- Knowledge on Cluster concepts
- Good to have knowledge on Object Storage
- Knowledge in SQL and No SQL/Cassandra/Mongo DB databases preferred
- Expert knowledge of Quality Assurance practice and procedures
