• General business process knowledge in MM, SD, FI and CO Modules.
• Good Analytical skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills needed to carry on one’s work independently.
• Mandatory: Should be open to work in Europe shift: ~1:30 PM – 10:30 PM IST. Expertise with hands on development experience in RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversion, Enhancements and Forms). Some developers are needed with specific ALE/IDoc skills also.
• Hands-on expertise in at least 2 of the below areas of ABAP (in the same order):
• Enhancements: BADI, User Exits and Customer Exits. Knowledge of Enhancement Spots would be added advantage. (mandatory proficiency in Enhancements)
• Reports: Classical, Interactive and ALV (using OO ABAP and Function Module approach to develop ALV reports)
• Interfaces: BAPI, BDC and Flat file Interfaces. If they have ALE/IDoc skill, it will be an added advantage.
• Forms: SAP Scripts and Smartforms
• Mandatory: Proficiency in Data Dictionary and basic understanding of performance oriented coding.
• OO ABAP expertise will be an added advantage.
• Using the IT development standards, develop custom RICEF objects.
• Understanding the functional design document to ensure the development work is in compliance with the requirements.
• Identifying and resolving issues by analyzing, debugging programs and determining solutions.
• Good awareness of basic SDLC.
• Will be responsible to prepare the Technical Specification, Code and Unit Test the developed code.

Experience:

4~6 years (for Consultant) or 2~4 (for Jr. Consultant) full-time experience in SAP ABAP programming
