Job Description:-

We currently offer translations for the language pair French to English. The client provides a source document,usually in French. This document can be a word file, a PPT file or an Excel file. Sometimes we also deal with PDF documents. The translator is then expected to read and understand the provided text correctly and then translate it into English. If necessary the translator may need to rework sentences so that the translation is cohesive and reads like it was written in English.There is no specific sector or subject that we deal with. There is a wide range of material to be translated; right from legal texts to IT related technical documents to consulting documents. The candidate should have experience in Translating technical documents, User Manuals, Flow Diagrams, Business documents etc from French to English and Vice Versa. Interpretation experience in person or on phone is mandatory. The candidate should have exposure to client facing roles (preferred) and good communications skills The role would involve translation of original client documents / reports /communication from French to English and vice versa in ERP domains viz. FICO, SD/SC, PM/ WM/ MM etc The candidate should review the first draft of the translation output generated by the translation software/ machine translation and should perform rigorous quality check to ensure highly accurate translation before delivering to client.

Specification / Skills/ Experience

1. Communicates with internal requestors to clarify work assignments and instructions and delivers high quality projects in time.
2. Works as team player in planning, scheduling and production with client serving and support personnel
3. Works as a self-starter with minimal direct supervision, taking over responsibility for all phases of communications and delivery
4. Above average oral and written communication skills.
5. Must be available to work overtime, when needed.
6. Flexibility to adapting to deadlines, changing schedules, priorities and unpredictable events.
7. Financial and Sales Reporting experience.

Primary Skills: -

• Experience of two years in French to English and vice versa translations
• Exposure to RFP process and business proposals would be a plus.
• Should be able to translate from English to French. 
• Bachelor / Masters in French language.
• Expert in Translation tools.
• Effective communication and positive attitude is must.
• French Translation, Process Documentation, presentations.
• PMO activities, Communication with French clients.
• Data gathering, analysis and reporting.
